From the early days of competitive hockey to my recent accomplishments in the marketing industry, I have always been driven by the power of embracing the territory outside of my comfort zone.My journey began on the hockey rink, where I defied conventions by joining a boys' team when no girls' associations were nearby. As the only girl in the dressing room, I navigated unfamiliar territory and forged strong bonds with my teammates. This experience taught me the importance of adapting, collaborating, and thriving in unconventional environments.After graduating from uOttawa, I was at a crossroads, unsure of my next steps. It was during this time that I received a transformative opportunity. A former summer employer saw my potential and entrusted me with managing a gym facility. The weight of responsibility and the unknown filled my mind, but drawing upon my past experiences, I embraced the challenge. At just 23 years old, I led a successful business with 1200 dedicated clients and a team of 30.During this chapter, I faced numerous hurdles and moments of self-doubt. However, with the unwavering support of my network and my commitment to perseverance, I overcame each obstacle. This journey equipped me with invaluable skills and an unyielding determination to excel in business strategy, marketing media, management, and customer service.Building on these foundations, I embarked on a new adventure within an award-winning B2B digital marketing agency. Here, I played a vital role in executing targeted account-based marketing campaigns that drove significant increases in engagement and sales fulfillment. Continuing my career trajectory, I am now a key stakeholder in the growth and development of a local marketing agency in Cleveland, Ohio.
