Key Accomplishments:› Launch and development of the Edmonton market of Homes & Living magazine› Played a key role in redesign of Homes & Living magazine, which launched in the June/July 2015 Architecture Issue.› Developed the concept and design of the new Homes & Living cover. › Managed four markets (Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Calgary and Edmonton) of Homes & Living, meeting all creative deliverables (production, upload, editorial and design components) with in-house and freelance teams to ensure that deadlines, and budgets were met and kept accordingly.Responsibilities:› Managing the roles and responsibilities of the Creative and Editorial team, which includes various graphic designers, contract photographers, web developer/programmers and the like to ensure they create, develop and execute effective collateral to meet the fast paced deadlines.› Working solely with the printer to create and meet production deadlines, retain quotes and upload print-ready magazine files.› Giving approval on all editorial, ad material and internal marketing material. › Responsible for pagination of all four markets - each 100+ pages. › Editorial design of regular features - Feature Homes, Epicure, Designer Profiles, Architect Profiles, Expressions and various other regular sections. › Managing advertisers in all four markets. I was responsible for sending ad requests, following up, and ensuring that all print-ready ads were sent in and ready to go to press at deadline, as well as ensuring that all ads that needed to be designed, had the appropriate materials in and were either being designed by myself, or another creative team member. › Ad design for over 50 clients across four markets bi-monthly.› The development and design of all marketing materials: sales sheets, contracts, business cards etc with direction directly from the Creative Director and Publisher.

Our goal is to be relevant, attainable and inspiring to modern couples within the Vancouver area and beyond. One of the best parts of my job is the ability to create something new everyday. We are constantly inspired by the cities that we live in, the vendors that we work with as well as the art, fashion and architecture that we see each day.Being the Art Director of The Refinery Magazine, my duties range from planning photo shoots, styling day of, creating custom graphics for social media outlets, the website and of course, designing the magazine from top to bottom! My favourite kind of work environment is one where the opportunities are endless. At Landcor, we are just scratching the surface! Everyday is different, there is always a new challenge, a new triumph and it’s inspiring to work with such a creative team.We have a range of clients, and so that means a range of collateral. With four websites and new products being developed, we always have exciting projects on our desks. I am responsible for managing our social media outlets and assisting with our marketing campaigns and the publication of our Quarterly reports.
