I am an RA for 45 students on my floor. Through this position I have learned how to engage with many different types of students in order to build a community. I plan weekly events with my floor and I have thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to develop relationships with my residents. The RA role has taught me how to be a better leader and it has helped grow my confidence in handling difficult situations efficiently.

I contributed to this research by taking the extra time to learn the difficult concepts, which allowed me to make quick decisions and spend our time in a useful way while in the lab.
