A People and Culture professional with a passion and drive for building strong policies, practices and programs. I have experience in a start-up environment, where the culture is one of high change, agility, strong teamwork, and collaboration. I bring with me hands-on experience in developing HR policies, diversity conscious recruitment practices, and employee focused programs and initiatives. My role at InkSmith/The Canadian Shield has provided me with a very unique opportunity to work, not only in a start-up tech environment, but has also given me exposure to a production facility atmosphere. I am highly organized; results oriented with a strong ability to establish trust and build key relationships at multiple levels of the organization.

Coordinated departments daily functions, providing efficient interdepartmental communication, support management in administrative tasks, increased department productivity, edited staff payroll. As well as supervised a team of 80+ unionized employees, responsible for scheduling and delegating daily assignments. Managed department communication with guests, and solved guest conflicts both in person and via phone/email.

Guest Service; Greet incoming guests and aided with luggage. Work alongside the concierge by providing detailed information regarding local attractions, hotel amenities, or any guest requests. Responsible for guest’s in-room dining and amenity requests.

Managed the customer service desk with the responsibility of answering all incoming calls and addressing requests in person and via phone; as well as supporting management with customer conflict resolution and sales transactions. Processed customers sales transactions and assisted with answering product questions.
