Hi! I'm Maddie and I am a 2023 graduate of the Experience Industry Management program at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. My studies were focused on hospitality management and tourism. I feel beyond lucky to have studied at such a prestige university, lucky for our learn-by doing motto that pushed me to curate tangible ideas on boosting tourism on the central coast, and formulate a comparative analysis between medical tourism organizations, lucky for a department with faculty and students whom I felt truly cared about each other and bettering the world, lucky for my whole experience. I traveled solo for three months following graduation, mostly around Europe but mainly in Spain, walking the Camino de Santiago. Now, I am in San Diego post-grad, with a more worldly perspective, and realizing, at any age, we are all just trying to figure it out. I am currently seeking opportunities in hospitality or other related industries in a new city.
