In this job, I lived with a community of 40-50 students and mentored them through monthly events, 1:1 check-ins, and daily conversations. Each week I would be "on duty" which would entail being available for lock-outs, incidents, and questions throughout the night. I worked in 3 different dorms, working with both freshman and sophomores.

In this job, I was in charge of ~50 campers with the help of 2-3 coworkers. I have worked with ages 2-7. For each day of camp, I would coordinate and teach a variety of sports such as soccer, baseball, kickball, gymnastics etc. The campers would also have swimming and horseback riding lessons daily that I would assist in when needed. I would assist training new counselors on job expectations and teaching strategies. I have built and maintained positive relationships with campers, parents, and staff over my 7 years working at Camp Olympia.
