Focus on relationship management, program development and support, and bringing people and resources together to help address community needs.Oversees the Fund Distribution process for United Way's annual campaign ($11million) consisting of hundreds of community volunteers, approximately 100 social service agencies, and around 260 funded programs. Responsible for the oversight and development of internal programs such as United Way Houses and ReUnite. Over 400,000 community support services are delivered annually throughout the network of United Way Houses. ReUnite currently serves approx. 1,100 families of individuals prone to wandering and is a partnership with local law enforcement to bolster search and rescue efforts. Extensive experience with disaster relief, response and recovery, specifically with engaging nonprofit and community partners in relation to disaster donation and volunteer management. Following Hurricane Ian this resulted in tens of millions of dollars in donated goods and services. Currently serving as the Emergency Support Function 15 for Lee County.Additional responsibilities include brainstorming and developing new community programs, overseeing additional grant opportunities for community partners, including Federal and local funding sources, and nurturing a network of collaboration and intentional growth.

Responsible for the implementation of United Way's annual Fund Distribution process, United Way Houses, and ReUnite programs.Additionally, expanded Beesley's Paw Prints pet therapy program to encompass 3 primary provider agencies with approx 60 pet therapy teams serving agencies, schools, hospitals, shelters, and many more community locations.Worked closely with internal team members and partners within Lee County Government to create the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant for community programs serving individuals who were disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. This resulted in about $17 million in funding being awarded to dozens of agencies over the 3 year grant period.Assisted in the management of a high-producing, goal oriented, community focused team of 20.

Implementation of Fund Distribution, United Way Houses, and the creation of the ReUnite Initiative. Worked with a dedicated internal team to secure funding from the University of Central Florida to launch Lee County's first Community Partnership School, in collaboration with the School District of Lee County, Lee Health, and Florida Gulf Coast University.Assisted in the transition of WeCare, a medical referral program for individuals without insurance, from a partner agency to being an internal, thriving United Way program resulting in millions of donated medical care each year.During 2020 spearheaded the creation and implementation of a childcare scholarship program for families experiencing financial hardships as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This program was a partnership with Lee County Government, utilizing CARES Federal dollars.

Helped officially launch and manage United Way's quickly growing Gifts in Kind program.Responsible for the management and expansion of United Way's network of United Way Houses.Additionally planned and implemented every aspect of special events such as golf tournaments, ribbon cuttings, and clay shoots.Provided support to United Way's annual Fund Distribution.

Responsible for developing new and innovative community relations programs. Develop relationships between Goodwill and local agencies, civic groups, schools, community groups, political groups, and governmental agencies. Assist the Director of PR with arranging public appearances, lectures, contests, and exhibits to increase mission awareness. Coordinating publications, news releases, and other materials for the community to promote Goodwill. Plan and execute community events such as Festival of Trees, store openings, awards, Breakfasts with the President, ect. Serve as a point person on the day of all events.

Responsible for all the marketing and PR tasks associated with the entertainment and business aspects of the theater. Creating all graphics/logos for full season (8-9 shows per year). Creating posters, postcards and ads for each production. Serving as a liaison between the theater and all media outlets (ie: News-Press, Island Sun, Islander, The Happenings, ect.). In charge of writing and sending out weekly press releases, organizing press shots for each show and maintaining/updating our website. Also responsible for creating and sending out a weekly newsletter to 500+ members using Constant Contact. Creating the pagination and final product/updating our playbill which consists of 70+ glossy pages of information, ads, and promotions. Tasks also included creating and maintaining the theater’s Facebook page, archiving promotional and theater-related articles/videos/photos, serving as a contact point for actors and volunteers and attending all Chamber of Commerce meetings.
