The Philanthropy Coordinator is responsible for overseeing fundraising programs within a designated region, including major gifts, special campaigns, events, planned giving, and fundraising for statewide advocacy efforts.• Lead Annual and Major Gift Officer for McLennan County• Serve as lead contact for the Waco Community Board of Advocates, which includes the development and facilitation of the quarterly meetings, recruitment of new members, sustaining donor stewardship in part through recurring communication, and identifying the need for and recruitment of relevant trainings.• Increased the annual giving in McLennan County by 20% from the previous two years of data • Lead fundraiser for the annual event, increasing the amount raised by 60% in 2022 and by 30% in 2023• Manage major gift and annual giving solicitations, solicitation procedures, and cultivation of donors from the earliest planning stages through implementation and follow-up.• Develop original ideas and fundraising materials to be used through the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship processes, including annual renewal letters, high-level reports, talking points, pledge forms, and personalized solicitations.• Work with appropriate staff to maintain and expand the database of prospective, current, and past donors.• Communicate regularly and work in collaboration with colleagues in various departments across the organization.

Responsible for directing all aspects of corporate and employee partnerships and campaigns. Establish, grow, and strengthen relationships with community employers to maximize community involvement and giving. Work with volunteers to create an effective team to build donor relationships and meet funding goals.
