I am currently working as a Material Flow and Lineside Planner at BMW Manufacturing in Spartanburg, SC. Our department is responsible for the strategic planning of logistics structures throughout the plant and warehouse. My role allows me to work closely with supply chain, packaging and assembly production to plan for new material. I am very passionate about the Automotive Industry and look forward to gaining experience in the Logistics department.I worked on the Industrial Engineering team at the Bosch Charleston plant for over 2 years. My team was responsible for supporting production areas by completing a variety of tasks such as ergonomic assessments, master layout updates, cycle time studies, value stream mapping and pull system kanban calculations.I spent one year as a Quality Engineer for Georgia-Pacific's Corrugated plant in Spartanburg, SC where I gained invaluable experience with the Packaging Industry. I was able to interact with operators on the shop floor to provide training and help improve current processes. I graduated from Clemson University in May 2016 with a BS in Industrial Engineering. During my time at Clemson I have earned my Six Sigma Green Belt and hope to further this certification in the future. I completed 4 rotations of full-time work at BMW Manufacturing Co. as well as the IE curriculum, at Clemson University. I am proficient in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.In addition to my experience in Automotive Manufacturing, I worked as a Lean Project Coordinator Intern for the Student Affairs Business Office at Clemson University. I was responsible for supporting several Kaizen Events where current state maps were developed and used to improve existing processes at Clemson. Through this internship, I learned how Industrial Engineering and Lean Processes can be applied to higher education.I believe that going to work should be enjoyable and I can honestly say that I have enjoyed my past experiences because of the people around me. I love working in teams and solving problems. I am passionate about constant development and strive to work for a company where I will never stop learning.
