I am currently a senior attending Indiana University- Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) and am working towards a Bachelors of Science in Health Services Management. I became interested in this major when I first started learning about how different and complex our healthcare system is compared to other countries and by taking public health courses throughout college. I enjoy learning about the behind the scenes of health care as well as health insurance. I have over three years of customer service experience and some knowledge in the law field as I worked as a law clerk and assistant for two summers in the past. From my previous jobs, I have learned and practiced leadership skills as well as working in teams and have exemplified strong work ethic. I use the traits and skills that I have learned from previous jobs in everyday life and will continue to use them in my future career.
