As an HR Intern, I brought my passion to help others, effectively communicate, and demonstrate my collaborative skills. In adapting to the virtual environment, it was important to have consistent communication to achieve success and a smooth process.This includes:➙ Connecting via email and phone for regular updates and discussions➙ Accommodating various environments by establishing clear expectations for availability and response times➙ Supporting technical issues promptlyIn my supporting responsibilities, I touched on HRIS usage, benefits implementation, and compensation projects.

As a Barista, I was customer-oriented in a fast-paced environment requiring effective communication and multitasking. While engaging with customers, I focused on being detail-oriented in understanding their preferences, and for regular customers, this meant memorizing their orders to build rapport. All the while communicating with team members and maintaining a clean and organized store throughout the shift. Also, being knowledgeable of the proper cash handling procedures, including counting and recording the revenue from the cash drawer and pay terminal at the end of the day.

With the opportunity to implement in-class learning in a professional environment, I grasped new knowledge and insights related to recruitment while managing administrative tasks with customer service as a priority.To highlight, a part of my experience was planning and hosting a Diversity and Inclusion event for "Pink Shirt Day", to recognize bullying awareness through informative and interactive components to engage employees.
