I am an experienced policy and research professional with diverse expertise spanning political communication, energy policy, and American democratic processes. I am currently a Political Science Ph.D. candidate at the University of Oregon. My dissertation research examines out-of-state interest in state-level direct democracy campaigns. This project focuses on issues of state capture, nationalization, and campaign finance. I also work as the Policy Coordinator for Generation Atomic. My work channels policy and regulatory design to advance nuclear energy globally as a vital tool to combat climate change. I have experience engaging and collaborating with policymakers at the state and federal level, as well as agencies such as the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.Additionally, I hold an editorial assistant position with the journal Political Communication. Political Communication is an international academic journal publishing theory-driven empirical research at the intersection of politics and communication.
