Current Research Professional in the Minnesota Alcohol and Pain Lab (MAPL), located within the Department of Anesthesiology in the University of Minnesota Medical School. MAPL's primary research focus is to further develop the knowledge surrounding pain, alcohol, and substance use.

Assisted with research conducted by the University of Minnesota's Medical Discovery Team on Addiction. Specifically, I studied how adolescent rodents' biological predisposition to addiction impacted learning and reward seeking behavior in the case of drug self administration.

Carried out knowledgeable and accessible one hour tours of thecollege to prospective high school students and their families to aid intheir college decision process.

Assisted Aleeta Steevens, PhD and Walter Low, PhD in the Department ofNeurosurgery at the University of Minnesota on her research investigatingthe generation of inner ear sensory neurons using blastocystcomplementation in mice.

Assisted in research at the Traumatic Brain Injury Research Lab located atHennepin County Medical Center, under the supervision of Uzma Samadani, MD PhD.The objective of the research was to discover biomarkers that could classifytraumatic brain injuries faster than current technology allows, leading ashorter wait time for lifesaving medical interventions in patients withintracranial hemorrhage.
