Over five and a half years ago I discovered my passion for working with animals and the people who love them. I became a certified veterinary technician and began working at a clinic but it wasn’t long until I found myself back in school in the off hours, this time enrolled in the University of Washington’s Applied Animal Behavior certification program to pursue my true passion: animal behavior. Working at a veterinary clinic, I have met countless dog guardians who are frustrated with some aspect of their dog’s behavior. I have met even more dogs who are frustrated and anxious about all it takes to navigate this crazy human-driven world in a safe and cooperative way. Through behavior consulting, I want to reach those pet guardians who are looking to deepen their understanding of their dogs and why they behave the way they do - and then put in the time, care, and energy it takes to improve behavior, strengthen the relationship, and reach a new level of care and compassion for the animals they love.
