This is a Senior Design Project at the University of Connecticut in conjunction with WSP USA. The project investigates the preliminary and final design of a skewed two-span composite superstructure bridge. The focus is on the structural and contractibility aspects of the superstructure replacement. State and Federal codes and standards will be followed, including AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.

Used experience gained while previously working in the field to be able to immediately jump into the role of assisting in the management of various projects, and to take the lead role on one project. Gained valuable experience preparing budgets, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, change orders and purchase orders to assist in productivity of the office, team and project.

Assist the Hall Director with day-to-day operational duties, including answering phones and responding to inquiries regarding University housing, as well as customer service to housing residents.

Gained valuable first-hand experience working in the field integrating technology-driven solutions with specialty contracting service to improve, protect and enhance existing infrastructure. I performed field tasks such as waterproofing, strengthening, injection and concrete repairs using methods and technologies, some of which are proprietary to Stuctural. Attended operation and development meetings to expand my depth of knowledge of all areas of the business.

Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and managing daily activities that engage the camp kids both in small and large groups. It was important for me to teach the kids confidence and the benefit of working as a team with their peers, for everyone to have fun. I was responsible for the safety of the campers and communicating with parents at drop-off and pick-up to give insights and feedback on the day.
