I currently work for Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight as a Senior Legal Assistant in the Washington, DC office. I am passionate about access to healthcare for the LGBTQ+ community, land and cultural sovereignty of Indigenous nations, and environmental advocacy. I have published a federal comment to the Department of Education and three articles advocating for protections for the transgender community, two notably in the Washington Blade, within my current role at Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight. As an undergraduate student at UNL, I published my honors thesis, "Settler Colonialism and the Movement Towards Indigenous Forest Sovereignty." I also gained global experience through study abroad programs in Germany, France, and Poland and language courses in French and Mandarin Chinese.
