Building tools to help build Veriff

Worked on the Veriff Android SDK - a proprietary closed-source library revolving around Camera APIs that integrates tightly both with the host app and Veriff's backend infrastructure.As part of a small Android engineering team my duties covered all parts of day-to-day product development whether it was fixing bugs, implementing features or keeping our CI & test suite in good condition. In addition this particular product - a proprietary library - had a number of interesting challenges on it's own from optimizing Proguard rules to debugging downstream issues with little information.

At ZeroTurnaround I was a core developer on the JRebel for Android team. JRebel for Android was a build tool that aimed to shorten the build-deploy-test cycles of developers. As part of a small team I had my hand in pretty much everything: bytecode processing, IDE and Gradle plugins, build/test infrastructure, the incremental Java compiler and also building a data analysis pipeline on top of ELK and Spark.

At Spotify I was part of the Android platform core team. Our team mission was to enable developers by ensuring the general architecture, tooling and timely releases of the Spotify Android app. My focus at Spotify was on build & test infrastructure and fixing hard-to-debug native issues in C++ parts of the Spotify app.

I worked on a large number of Android apps at Mobi as a lead developer, some of them with millions of users. In addition I designed and implemented a number of tools and libraries for internal use, examples: an app store Android app and backend in Go, a LDAP-management webapp in Go, a cross-platform logging and log collection library + backend and an internal CI-oriented app store.

Fortumo is a SMS service and payment provider. As one of the first developers my tasks covered all aspects of creating and launching a large monolithic Ruby on Rails web app including but not limited to: designing the db and codebase, integrating with external SMS providers and telcos, doing frontend work and creating deployment infrastructure to our (at that time single) bare metal server.

I was an intern working on a J2ME prototype that connected to a VOIP network over GSM.
