CurrentPBSA’s network of four schools is dramatically better off than it was 6 years ago. Specifically, since the APS-PBSA partnership began:On the APS Challenge Index, Price made the highest gains of any APS middle school.On the APS Challenge Index, THES was the no.2 most-improved elementary school in APS.Carver STEAM Academy has made the 2nd highest gains in graduation rate of all APS high schools. We have not had the same level of success at Slater, and we own that result. We are working hard to change Slater’s trajectory to mirror the other 3 PBSA schools. We are confident there will be similar gains at Slater over the next 2 years.PBSA has invested more than $20 million in student and family support programs over 6 years, all targeted at reducing the equity and opportunity gaps that our families face.PBSA has built a rigorous academic and instructional program that now includes:9 AP classes at Carver STEAMAn advance pathway for high performing students beginning in the 4th gradeExpanded gifted and honors class opportunities.
