I manage the post-production department including hiring, creating and setting workflows and organization, implementing new tools to create more efficient processes for a fast growing company.Directly manage Assistant Editors and Junior Editors, including mentorship, teaching, and advising on continuing education to help them grow to the next level inter careers. I am also responsible for assigning, QC, monitoring, and delivery of assets across divisions.Recently, I lead a team to research and implement a new project management tool across the company (monday.com) and I'm a key member on team working to implement a DAM tool.

Grew and managed the post production team for Organic and Paid digital media including video editors, graphic designers, motion graphic designers, and a request desk. Created, implemented, and monitored processes for workflow, review processes, media organization, ingest and distribution of media.

As the Director of Production, I Manage a video team of editors, producers/videographers, GFX designers, as well as contractors as needed. Work closely with our Director of Audience Development in content distribution and set our publishing schedule for premieres as well as suggest crossposts and shares from partners. Working closely with the Managing Editor we ensure our producers are selecting and writing the stories our audience wants to see. When I have a spare second (less and less these days) I continue to produce and edit videos for our Facebook page as well as occasionally shoot interviews as well as Facebook Lives.

As the head of post production for Brut. America, I manage a team of 4 editors. We work our creative minds hard to get out powerful stories and to tell the news with a new angle. I had free range to set up the department in a way that is organized, efficient, fast, and fun loving.
