She has a proven ability to strategically assess company human resources needs and provide a resulting vision and strategy, while balancing day-to-day hands-on delivery. She especially enjoys figuring out how to convert customer and/or business team members’ ideas into unique solutions and value propositions that propel the company forward.She retired as the CHRO of Applied Materials, where she reported to the CEO and partnered closely with the C-suite and the Board of Directors to transform the company’s vision, mission, values, and its executive compensation program. Ms. Bolano also worked with these groups to champion the company’s diversity and inclusion strategies, conduct Board and company succession planning, develop and execute a winning strategy, improve employee engagement, close and integrate mergers and acquisitions, and create and staff new businesses and functions. She partnered closely with the CEO and Chairman of the Board to facilitate the Board’s Human Resources/Compensation Committee. Ms. Bolano is currently a Board Director and the Compensation Committee Chair for Technology Credit Union, a Forbes 2021 Best-In-State Credit Union, with $4+B in assets. She serves as Board Co-Chair for Teen Success, Inc. while also fulfilling other volunteer and philanthropic interests.
