Heading up the Investment Operations team in Sampension, managing a team of 8-10 Investment Operation Specialists. Areas covered are Investment Accounting, Derivatives Settlement, Collateral Management, Liquidity Management, FX & Transaction Settlement and since September 2023 also the Alternative Investment Operations.

As a Chapter Lead I have the managerial responsibility for 10 senior Dimension specialists and SAS developers in the application specialist function covering liquid investments, trade processing & collateral, illiquid investments, platform operations and fund and portfolio services. In my role as leader, I am responsible for building a strong team across multiple squads in a complex matrix organization, working in an agile setup. I am further more an active functional specialist, delivering on sprint tasks.

Heading up a team of 5 highly skilled SimCorp Dimension specialist. Responsible for the support of daily operations, ensuring and owning efficient work flows, development of process efficiencies and strategic project related work. Ensuring that my team can be the best version of themselves, building on trust and high engagement.

As a member of the Tehcnical Support team, my role has been to support the business with technical and operational support within SimCorp Dimension. Due to the nature of the support role, I have been exposed to all parts of a modern Asset Manager, spanning all across Front-, Middle- and Back Office functions.Besides aiding support, the main tasks within my role was to participate in big strategic projects, as well as implementing smaller development tasks, to further increase the operational efficiency of the entire value chain.

Hamonoya ApS is a small wholesale company, focusing on highend kitchen utensils, home accesories and personal care products, with more than 1.500 retail stores within its distribution chain in the Nordic countries. My role was to oversee the financials of the firm, complete quarterly financial reports for the board, handle all purchasing of inventory, act as an internal IT manager, among many other things. This role really taught me a lot about how all the mechanics of a small organisation work, and no task was too small for me to handle. It was en ever changing journey, where I was really working in unkown territory, having to acquire new skills every day.This was my first encounter with managerial tasks, without havin the HR responsibility for any employees.

Working as a consultant within the Front- and Middle office domain of SimCorp Dimension. My main focus was in the Risk & Performance modules, Compliance Manager, as well as Asset Manager and Trade Manager. I worked with multiple large Asset Managers across Europe, on implementation and proof of concept of SimCorp Dimension.

Working within the Group Valuation Control team. A valuation unit focusing on giving confidence to the Nordea group valuations of traded financial instruments. Group Valuation Control oversees and critically challenge the business area valuations to give assurance in the valuations used. My tasks were focused on aligning the internal valuation processes across different business units, as well as producing and validating valuation reports for Nordea Group Risk.

Spending invaluable time with my oldest son and growing spades of new competences such as time management, emergency solving, patience, caring and multitasking.

Internal market maker, providing liquidity and hedging opportunities for the internal flow of physical hedging. As a part of the front office flow desk, I was trading futures on Brent crude and Gasoil, swaps on all fuel oil grades, as well as time, geographical and product spreads.

As an assistant broker I facilitated the contact between the bond market makers and the client advisors, who undertake mortgage transactions for medium and larger corporations and retail customers. Executing trades of bonds, stocks and mutual funds.

I held various positions during my employment with Danske Capital. As part of the Trade Processing team, I was responsible for settling equity and fixed income trades, instructing trades to custodian banks and solving emerging problems. I was in contact with external brokers and counterparties, and worked in close corporation with in-house portfolio managers and dealers. I aslso held a positon in Static Data & Prices, where I was responsible for updating and controlling market data. In the Limits team, I assited in limit and compliance checks, and helped setting up limits for the managed portfolios. With SimCorp Dimenison as the main portfolio management system, the majority of the work was carried out in Dimension. Furthermore I was also exposed to the usage of Bloomberg.
