Hydrovertic is a startup company established by Iris M. Madsen Cand. Polyt and Jacob Copeland Cand. Polyt in 2020. The company's foundation and vision are based on their passion for resource optimization, sustainability and the marine environment. Their passion led them in the direction of vertical farming, where they see great opportunities. The company's purpose is thus to develop a vertical farming system which, unlike many other systems, is based on the existing structure of the agri- and horticulture industry. The system can thus be established in existing nurseries and agriculture, as a form of "Plug & Play" solution where all existing interfaces (Water, Electricity, Fertilizer, Wastewater, etc.) and buildings can be used. The system has a modular structure, and therefore provides the opportunity to establish vertical horticulture at the pace that suits the customers best. In 2022, the company established its own tests with great success and has several smaller installations in operation. An agreement has been established with two nurseries in the first half of 2023 for a "real life proof of concept" test of the entire system, with the aim of creating the framework for a scaling of production and sales which is expected to start in the latter half of 2023.

DeepTech Mentoring supports pre-startups, startups, SMEs and established companies within the community at DTU Science Park by matching founders/CEOs with volunteer experienced mentors. Through a team mentoring approach with groups of three mentors, mentees get competent sparring on day-to-day challenges as well as on strategic issues. Senserna is a technology company, a spin-out from Technical University of Denmark (DTU) founded in 2016 by Henrik Schneider, MSc, PhD and Kristian Lindberg-Poulsen, MSc. Henrik and Kristian have invented and patented a technology that enables wireless measurement of temperature in a microwave oven. Senserna is planning to sell its technology to partners within the microwave value chain, and are also planning to develop, manufacture and bring a range of consumer products to the market. The first product that will hit the market is a temperature indicator for heating up baby milk in the microwave oven, expected to be available in store spring 2018.

From November 1st 2014 I start a new chapter in my long career. I will start as strategy advisor and partner at the Danish company Vinderstrategi A/S (Winnerstrategy). Since January 2011, I have been working collaboratively with entrepreneurs by helping and supporting different small companies and startups in developing their business plans. Primarily with the purpose of seeking investors for the next phase of their business. As part of the business plan we have also looked carefully into concrete execution plans (i.e. Go To Market Plan), detailing all the necessary tasks that ensure accurate strategic decisions are made at the right time to reach the desired objectives. The companies I am involved with are all in the internet services industry. Both B2B as well as consumer segments, which is where I have had my last 6 years of experience.

Starting end 2009 and during 2010 I am working on global level as program owner for special strategic Go-To Market projects. The projects are initiated by Nokia’s General Executive Board of Directors and are of imperative strategic importance for Nokia’s transformation from a device focused company to a consumer centric solution focused company.
