Polyt in 2020. The company's foundation and vision are based on their passion for resource optimization, sustainability and the marine environment. Their passion led them in the direction of vertical farming, where they see great opportunities. The company's purpose is thus to develop a vertical farming system which, unlike many other systems, is based on the existing structure of the agri- and horticulture industry. The system can thus be established in existing nurseries and agriculture, as a form of "Plug & Play" solution where all existing interfaces (Water, Electricity, Fertilizer, Wastewater, etc.) and buildings can be used. The system has a modular structure, and therefore provides the opportunity to establish vertical horticulture at the pace that suits the customers best. In 2022, the company established its own tests with great success and has several smaller installations in operation. An agreement has been established with two nurseries in the first half of 2023 for a "real life proof of concept" test of the entire system, with the aim of creating the framework for a scaling of production and sales which is expected to start in the latter half of 2023. -
