As Lead Architect at RTX, I am responsible for ensuring the architectural integrity and quality of all software developed within the R&D department. A key focus of my role has been driving the transformation from a project-based software organization to a platform-based approach, improving scalability and efficiency. Additionally, I have played a pivotal role in integrating and refining the company’s product development processes to support this transition.In my efforts to enhance software quality, I developed a qualitative evaluation method based on the ISO/IEC 25010 standard. This framework provides a comprehensive assessment of software quality attributes, and the resulting reports have been used to inform strategic decisions at the board level, directly influencing the company’s long-term direction.I also led the successful introduction of a new requirements management system, where I was responsible for aligning processes, conducting training, and overseeing the administration of the tool across the organization. This initiative has significantly improved the consistency and efficiency of our development practices.In addition, I have been deeply involved in a major update to an existing product line, guiding the refactoring of a large, complex codebase. This project spans multiple products, including wireless edge devices and base stations connected to a cloud solution. I worked closely with specialists and other software architects to optimize the system for greater efficiency, reduced maintenance, and improved scalability.As a member of RTX’s Cybersecurity Board, I have developed expertise in regulatory requirements across Europe and the United States. In this capacity, I designed the threat analysis model currently in use at RTX, strengthening our cybersecurity posture and ensuring compliance with international standards.

In my role as Technology Lead, I was responsible for overseeing and coordinating architectural decisions across the entire software department, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. I contributed to the development of a robust product development process and various supporting processes that streamlined workflow and enhanced productivity.As the architect on a major project, I led the integration of an advanced audio system for concert attendees. My responsibilities included developing a significant portion of the system built on Linux, as well as overseeing the integration of all system subcomponents to ensure seamless functionality. I developed a method of synchronizing an audio signal transmitted via a wireless link to a audio transmitted through air. In another large-scale project, I served as the lead architect in developing a wireless modem based on DECT technology for an advanced conferencing system. During this development I co-invented a new method of communication with a large amount of microphones. this development lead to a successful patent application. I played a crucial role in both designing the wireless modem and contributing to the overall system architecture. As a key stakeholder, I worked closely with the customer, leading the process of requirements gathering. Additionally, I was instrumental in developing the initial version of the requirements management process that was adopted at RTX, establishing a solid foundation for future projects.

As a Project Engineer, I played a pivotal role in implementing and integrating DSP algorithms for audio processing, specifically focusing on the integration of an asynchronous resampler for Dialog Semiconductor DSPs. My work involved extensive experience with digital codecs, such as the Opus Codec, optimizing audio performance across various systems. I was involved in several projects where I developed automated test systems, significantly improving testing efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, I introduced automated audio verification processes, ensuring consistent, high-quality performance across all product development phases.

I was working for prof. Torben Larsen. My work was creating technical illustrations for his new book. I work with Inkscape to insure best quality of the illustrations.

My job include, informing high school students about the possibilities at Aalborg University and creating presentations about the studies I represent.
