I worked in the Energy Dpt. primarily with district heating projects, including the development of DH to Nordals and the new holiday resort close to Danfoss Universe and further assisting misc. district heating utilities in extending their supply area. Tasks included tendering, design and planning district heating grids and preparing proposals ("projektforslag") for new developed areas or existing areas, which were formerly heated with natural gas.

AffaldVarme (now "Kredsløb") is the heating utility of the Aarhus Region. My role was to future-proof the district heating transmission grid covering Aarhus Municipality and parts of two neighbouring municipalities, which included heating forecasts, hydraulic analyses, temperature optimisation, dimensioning of heat centrals and pump stations. Further, I was involved in analyses re. introduction of new district heating technologies such as geothermal heat.
