I am very pleased to once again having the chance to fight cytomegalovirus (CMV) infections. There is an increased clinical demand for higher efficacy and safer anti-CMV drugs from organ and stem cell transplant centers around the world. In Synklino we aim to eliminate CMV infection through rational design/engineering of a chimeric protein based API. Most recently worked at CHRETO as Process Technology Manager in their pursuit of developing a single-use affinity purification technology for downstream processing of mAbs. Prior to that I worked at Symphogen as Senior Scientist in downstream purification development of mixtures of mAb's. Responsible for tech transfer to CMO, supervision of GMP manufacturing, virus validation models and DP manufacturing.Previously worked at Inagen ApS, a start-up biotech company, on the design, purification and characterization of recombinant chimeric API's for the therapeutic treatment of viral diseases.Ph.D. in protein crystallography, University of Aarhus. Post doc. position at the University of Copenhagen, studying proteins using Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) and micro fluidic total analysis systems.Key competences: In silico API design. bacterial protein expression, downstream process development, protein characterisation. project management. tech transfer to CMO, GMP manufacturing, virus validation models, DP manufacturing, DoE and HTPD.
