As real estate investment banker Mads Skaarup has completed numerous landmark M&A activities, including transactions, structured finance solutions, capital procurements and establishments of joint ventures.In October 2024, Mads Skaarup joined CBRE Capital Markets to drive more real estate corporate finance activities, including sizeable transactions, financings and establishments of joint ventures, both in Denmark and across the Nordic Region.Prior to joining CBRE, Mads Skaarup was partner and lead at Deloitte M&A Real Estate where focus was on real estate transactions, including platform deals, city development projects and sale-and-leasebacks.Before Deloitte, Mads Skaarup worked at Catella Corporate Finance, a European finance group, focussing on real estate investment banking, fund management and real estate investments. Mads Skaarup was involved in Catella's establishment of transaction and debt advisory services, and was part of the management group in Copenhagen.Prior to Catella, Mads Skaarup worked at BlackRock in San Francisco where he structured and managed portfolios of fixed income securities.
