As class surveyor I was conducting surveys on vessels, maritime equipment and manufacturers/ service suppliers. Copenhagen office is responsible for all Class NK activities within Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

As certified unlimited DP operator and with extensive technical and operational knowledge on various dynamic positioning systems I have through my career both on- and off-shore worked with commissioning, testing, operation and faultfinding. I have attended factory acceptance tests, customer acceptance tests and both proving and annual trials of various DP installations. Based on this knowledge I have been working as Freelance DP Surveyor attending vessels as 3rd party witness for onboard approval tests following IMCA guidelines. As an example I have been the attending DP surveyor conducting the 2015 annual DP trials on board the Sea Challenger, a self-propelled jack-up vessel for offshore wind-turbine installation.

I was part of the Marine Operations team which key role was to give advice and support to supply vessels all over the world. I was supporting the day-to-day operations of supply vessels and furthermore assist on various nautical matters to both vessels, commercial and various operations departments within the organization. Furthermore to assist in operational matters such as providing assessments of ports, harbors and navigational conditions, and in matters related to the offshore operationBeing trained and certified in accident/incident investigation I was conducting internal investigations on board ships whenever such was needed and providing full report with root causes and preventive actions.Part of the job was to keep company safety management system up-to-date by identifying non-conformances or operational procedures for improvement.As acting company security officer I was part of a team that managed all security threats for vessels operating in high risk areas and taking care of all ISPS related matters for the company.Being offshore operational expert I was part of a team that would provide input on coming newbuilding designs and operational performances.With a certification as lead ISM auditor I was part of a team that managed internal auditing and vetting on the vessels (to OCIMF OVID standard).
