As a kid I always had some type of routine that pushed me to keep organized and have fun as well. Now, I know what you are thinking.. she kept organized as a kid? Well of course I did! Each of my toys had an allotted amount of time that I played with them so that each toy had a chance to be played with. Over the years I have learned that if you take the time you are able to put your energy towards something you love! Marketing is one of many things I love doing! I graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor’s in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma and at that time I was not sure exactly what type of marketing I wanted to focus on but luckily I have experienced many unique positions that have guided me to where I hope to grow more. 2020-Assisted in developing a small business within a semester during my time at OU. I was part of the marketing team where we promoted our product using Social Media platforms, word of mouth, and popping-up with our products at football games. 2021-Marketing Internship on a small, family operated medicinal marijuana farm. This was the experience of a lifetime. I had the pleasure to be able to be mentored by one of the most highly respected Marketers in the marijuana industry. I had the opportunity to help promote the products at events, local dispensaries, and through social media. 2022-Insurance, Wineries, and Yoga. I worked many jobs this year as I was still trying to find where my best fit was. I worked with a local insurance company where I helped set up their social media presence and assisted in planning out ideas that would best promote them. My time with the North Texas Association was brief, yet it gave me the chance to learn more about how if you have a similar idea and it can help others reach success why not gather together to promote one another. It was odd at first to think competitors would gather together but each place had a uniqueness to them which is what helped the team promote them via email, social media, and events. I then moved to another position with YogaSix where I have worked as Assistant Marketing Manager. There’s no better feeling then promoting something you know will help people not only physically but mentally as well. I have had the pleasure to help other businesses promote themselves at YogaSix as well as promote YogaSix using social media and Grassroots Marketing. All in all. If you take the time, you can pin point what is special about something and find a way to show others why that thing is so special.
