Software EngineerImaginant Inc. Mar 2017 - Nov 2019Developed software for Imaginant’s UltraSonic Pulser/Receiver uPelt-ts5+, which uses ultrasonic pulses to measure the thicknesses in µm of individual layers of paint up to 8 layers at once, using Qt, C++, and embedded Linux. Configured RNDIS for communication between a PC and the gauge. Designed a software upgrader to handle changes not only to the main application, but also the entire filesystem and u-boot. Developed production utilities to configure new gauges for both the uPelt-ts and also new stand-alone high frequency pulser/receivers. Implemented a completely new modular framework for deploying supporting software solutions for the uPelt-ts gauge including a TestBench for software verification. Features include: FTP Client interface, configuration management tool, and a file system watcher. -
Embedded Software EngineerLeuze Electronic Usa Sep 2013 - Oct 2016Duluth, Georgia, UsDeveloped initial software with Embedded Linux and C/C++, for a new barcode reader which will decode 1D and 2D barcodes using a Freescale i.MX6 processor. Utilized the mature product related to this, the DCR200i, to develop a specialized version for one of our customers. Embedded C development of barcode readers for medical blood analysis machines. Updated code for the new boards with an ARM processor from older boards which used a C166 processor using Keil μVision. Rewrote code in C from Assembly. Worked on the pattern extraction algorithms and the decoders for different 1D barcodes. Unit tested code under development. Created several different releases of the code for different applications. -

Software EngineerHcl Technologies Aug 2011 - Jun 2012Noida, Uttar Pradesh, InDeveloped a mobile app for Xerox using Flash Builder 4.60 (Actionscript 3 and MXML). Integrated social media, Facebook, Flickr, and Twitter, with digital printing controls for a Blackberry device. -
Engineer 1, Real Time Control SwXerox Sep 2003 - Jul 2011Norwalk, Connecticut, UsC++ work on Nuvera, Xerox’s high-end black and white production printer, 144 ppm. Worked with mechanical engineers to integrate a complex dynamic device. Delivered high quality and timely machine module controls software for all software releases. Reviewed all requirements impacting my sub-system. Prioritized, investigated and resolved problems and events in a timely manner. Implemented Lean Six Sigma activities. Expanded knowledge of the Machine Module Team and drove constant improvement of the machine module code and architecture. Customer/Field Tech Escalations support.Key deliveries included:• Created software for a new fixture, the BFM (Basic Finishing Module). Implemented dual BFMs, work that allowed customers to attach more than a single finishing module to the printer, creating a significant improvement in efficiency. Applied new specifications essential to the function of an additional device, the Interface Module Top Tray, revising legacy code. • Collaborated with Xerographic process controls engineers to remedy numerous TRC convergence printing faults on the Xerox Nuvera (Black & White production printer, 144 ppm). Extensively tested and integrated new fault notifications into the code that resulted in a significant efficiency gain. Service technicians now have the ability to quickly identify problems reported by customers experiencing image quality issues. Diagnoses that once involved days of down-time now can be addressed in minutes. -
Intern In The Xerox Image Quality GroupXerox May 2002 - Aug 2002Created a graphical user interface in Matlab to automate print analysis. Conducted and analyzed a psychophysical study to determine a new specification. Participated in fault assessment meetings analyzing the quality and attributes of competitors’ and Xerox’s prints.
