In November 2011 I started with WSUPG as an Office Assistant I quickly moved up in the organization to a new position with the Credentialing team. Credentialing includes research and analysis of provider background to include; education, previous work history, prior claims history, state/federal sanctions against licensure. Additionally, while credentialing you submit provider health plan enrollment and assist applying for hospital privileges. While I credentialed and re-credentialed new and existing health care providers I found enjoyment in analyzing provider risk. It was clear to my organization there was a need and growth within our group to move me into a full time capacity as a Risk Management Analyst. As a Risk Analyst I am able to manage provider medical malpractice and general liability incidents that are recieved in the organization. I work closely with WSUPG's Insurance broker/carrier to ensure providers have insurance coverage and legal representation/ counsel if necessary. I also manage the reporting and training for our risk management education and clarity incident reporting tool organization wide. Additionally I review and edit WSUPG Risk Management policies and procedures. Quarterly I am the administrator for two meetings which include the CEO, Risk Management Committee and our Insurance Broker, I am to prepare all documentation.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent with Oakland County Parks and Rec. In this job I was able to grow and experience many job duties to include cash handling, minor grounds maintenance, book keeping. I started my time at Groveland Oaks County Park when I was very young but expanded my roll into a senior position when I assisted in becoming one of the first employee's at Orion Oaks County Park. I assisted in the design and construction of a business building at this park. As this park grew I was able to bring in park revenue for the first time by selling park passes and merchandise. I also spent a majority of my time at Independence Oaks County Park where I assisted in park reservations to include; weddings, camping family reunions.
