Dr. Kuhn teaches courses within the Hutton School of Business in addition to her professional position to remain current within the field, engage with the students, and test changes to content, pedological strategies, and institutional processes before delivering to the faculty. Dr. Kuhn is credentialed to teach courses in the subfields of: business communication, business law, entrepreneurship, marketing, supply chain, and strategic management.

Assumes responsibility for hiring, credentialing, developing, evaluating, and managing faculty and/or staff for all undergraduate online courses.- Oversaw program implementation from vendor prospecting, technical implementation, and current program management of an online tutoring program (Tutor.com) for all students at no cost.- Created quality standards and oversees the evaluation of all online courses in alignment with accreditation standards.- Works with departments to implement innovative learning tools within the curriculum and course design, including but not limited to Google Certifications, HubSpot Academy, Interpretive Simulations, Harvard Business Publishing Simulations, Pearson CertiPort, Stukent, and Cengage Publishing.- Manage bookstore relations and vendors (e.g. Cengage, McGraw-Hill, Pearson) to provide training for faculty, workflow processes with Instructional Design, program incentives with Chairs, and contracts to increase textbook affordability for students. The Prior Learning program at University of the Cumberlands includes four pathways to obtaining alternative credit at NO COST to the student. The four pathways include: knowledge exams, certification credit, experiential credit, and third-party exams such as CLEP, DANTES, UExcel, StraighterLine, etc. Dr. Kuhn manages the undergraduate prior learning program through student inquiry to faculty assessment and assigning credit.

Dr. Kuhn redesigned the General Studies degrees (A.A.S., A.S., B.A.S., B.S.) in early Spring of 2020 to better meet student needs and market demands at the Associate and Bachelors levels. Major enrollment increased by 339% within four months of the program redesign and, as of Fall 2022, is the second largest undergraduate major across the institution.
