100 Thieves is a new gaming lifestyle company and esports organization built at the intersection of competitive gaming, entertainment, and apparel. 100 Thieves was founded in 2017 by Matthew 'Nadeshot' Haag, the former OpTic Gaming Call of Duty captain and X Games gold medalist. In December 2017, the company's growth accelerated with an investment from Dan Gilbert, owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers, in conjunction with receiving a franchise in the North American League of Legends Championship Series (LCS). Most recently, in 2018 100 Thieves finished in 2nd place in its first ever season in the LCS, sold out five apparel drops - each in less than 20 minutes, signed major sponsors like Rocket Mortgage and Red Bull, and had the fastest growing YouTube and Instagram channels in esports. The company also raised its series A from Drake, Scooter Braun, and Sequoia Capital. This includes the scouting and recruiting of new players, developing talent and influencing the political landscape of the industry.
