To ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and to provide a full accounting service for 3M business units in Germany and Nordic Countries.• Preparation of monthly financial accounting data • Completion of month end accounting processes • Reconciliation of closing inventory • Calculation and verification of accruals, including Goods Received Not Invoiced, Goods in Transit and Non Working Inventory• Reconciliation of Interco payables and inventory clearing accounts including invoice entry, statement reconciliations and monthly payment cycles. • Month end gross margin analysis including verification and explanation of variances• Review of financial statements and other data before transmission to parent company. • Reconciliation of allocated accounts including investigation and resolution of any differences.• Reconciliation of Intercompany positions.• Assisting with resolution of audit queries• Identification and implementation of process improvements.
