Responsible for the evaluation and monitoring of the (technical) functioning of electricity markets. Tasks include analysing data and informing stakeholders on the current and future state of electricity markets, including the impact of market behaviour and innovative technologies. Representing the CREG on EU-level when defining and shaping market integrity and transparency. Tasks include forming a vision, defending this vision on European level, and applying it once internationally agreed upon.Responsible for approving balancing market designs for the international exchange of reserves. Tasks include closely interacting with stakeholders in order to foster competition on balancing markets using the principle of non-discrimination and optimization.
