With over a decade of experience spanning journalism, marketing, and communications, I’ve crafted narratives that inspire, inform, and bring communities together.Currently, I serve as Communications Manager for the City of Siloam Springs, where I oversee public relations, social media, publications, and event promotion, sharing the unique story of our city with residents and visitors alike. Previously, I led marketing efforts as Director of Marketing & Communications for the Five-Star Accredited Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce, where I reimagined Connect Magazine, launched innovative campaigns, and helped local businesses thrive.My career started with a love for storytelling as a journalist, holding editorial roles with Charm East Texas, San Jacinto News-Times, and Houston County Courier, and being published across numerous Texas publications. Along the way, I developed a passion for photography as another powerful way to tell stories.Outside of work, you’ll find me exploring new adventures with my family, dreaming up my next creative project, or spending time with my two rescue cats, Melly and Felix.
