I love what I do like some people love chess, football, or Taylor Swift. Now, WHY did I start ADCR Capital? For 14 years I've complemented the "Zone of Genius" of technical and/or product-oriented founders, accompanying them as the company builder in 20+ complex B2B SaaS, AI & platform businesses. Mine lies in operations & revenue, strategy, and every commercial aspect of the product. Combined with finance, funding, and interacting with the board and investors. But most of all - in connecting all of these dots and sitting behind this multi-dimensional chess board.In November 2023, the acquisition of 20% of the shares of an HR AI company I operated for 6 months didn't go through. Had created a strong 2.0 story, vision & commercial product, including an upgraded UI/UX, via one of my partners. Also introduced a top Dutch CTO and created a convertible note where I convinced current investors to fill 10% and rallied top VC firms like Peak around the 2.0 vision.After that deal didn't go through, The MD of Peak told me I had to do something with what I did there, as the company builder. That was the start of A Dream Called Rome Capital. Where I leverage and bring together my own experience and zone of genius with my very large network of the best C-level operators, top talent to form teams with, renowned capital partners, and best-in-class partners into something new...We aim to build a portfolio of companies we truly believe in which we operate by adding the Company Builder (CRO/COO/CEO) and going LONG with those businesses, combined with being a Capital Broker, via our Capital Partner Network. Traicie built an integratable AI talent engine that help corporates quickly and proactively find valuable candidates through automated sourcing, prescreening and matching on CV, LinkedIn and Whatsapp.I was in discussions to enter the capital of Traicie after 6 months, together with a close friend and top Dutch CTO (33 mil. exit), whom I convinced to come on board. This was all part of launching the Traicie 2.0 I had designed for Traicie, with help of the whole team. The deal did not make it through and the collaboration was terminated shortly afterwards. As were my efforts in rallying top investors such as PEAK.Capital and many others into investing in this 2.0 story, and in me.I consider this my best work so far and it were those investors who made me realise I’d never be just a CRO again and was destined to sit behind the whole chess board. They collectively motivated, inspired and educated me, which led to ADCR Capital.

Of which the main price, was 2 VIP tickets for Tomorrowland & full access to the VIP corner of D'Ieteren at Tomorrowland.

    In the early days of CentralApp, when they were just a couple of people and moved into their first real office (which was quite nice), I was their head of sales tasked with acquiring new customers for their easy-website concept, mainly focused on restaurants. Low ticket SaaS solution for restaurants to have their own website, by just filling in things in the back-end and automatically having it updated in the front via a template-like approach to the front of these websites for the customers to choose from. Unlike JUSTEAT, this wasn’t my greatest success story. Fortunately, the company managed to later on acquire tons of customers, further adapt their product for a better PMF vs when I sold it when it was still a basic 1-template product for all. Glad to see where they are today and they really build out the product commendably.
