After studying geography, I worked for more than 10 years in local and regional governmental institutions in Urban Planning (GIS), Economic Affairs (GIS) and Blue Economy.In 2015, I founded Sea Matters and support my clients in a wide range of projects on topics such as marine pollution, circular economy, aquaculture & fisheries, food(fish)processing, wind and wave energy. After introducing fish leather to the market in Belgium in 2016, I was closely involved in the development of a new technology to ecologically produce fish skin (leather).In 2020, I co-founded AllWaves, where we are introduce a complete new technology for creating waves in outdoor surf pools. My strength lies in bringing together a variety of key-players and designing new (R&D) projects. The variety of disciplines reflects in my broad, cross-sectoral and international network that consists of governmental institutions (both local and European) as well as (representatives of) companies. I have a straightforward hands-on mentality. Competent in a wide range of project management skills, I believe I steer a project in the right direction.I particularly enjoy bringing together partners form different sectors to work on innovative cross sectoral linkages.
