In-patient Psychiatric Center Mental health provider:-Complete psychosocial assessments & behavioral health treatment plans for patients-Identify & implement behavioral goals & treatment plan for patient-Assist and train mental health interns-Collaborate and provide extensive case management & referrals for patients for discharge for continuation of care and best recovery success -Facilitate mental health groups of which are trauma informed & appropriate to setting-Provide individual and family therapy sessions for in-patient clients-Assist with program development and expansion

-Mediate the relationship between my superiors on the Executive team, attend Leadership meetings and facilitate the relationship between my superiors and the team I supervised- Provide supervision, training and oversight to a team of Mental Health Practitioners who complete their day to day work under my licensure-Develop, engage and facilitate client/family relationship with the organization. Continually assess and maintain the client's clinical progress between their individual therapist & the client’s treatment plan

As the mental health counselor/practitioner at RCCS, it was my main role to manage the mental health case load of all our out-patient substance abuse recovery clients at the Minneapolis location. This includes performing intake appointments to assess for mental health needs and immediacy of resources such as medication management or therapy. As well as providing mental health specific groups on trauma and resiliency, CBT and other important topics, I also provided individual therapy for current clients. Further, I assisted heavily in training and supporting masters level interns and new employee's.

As a LPCC, I continued to provide out-patient mental health services to those experiencing difficulties in managing their mental health and who are motivated to increase their overall wellbeing, in a private practice setting.

I provided psychotherapy for individuals from the community and in the adult day-treatment program. I also co-facilitated a domestic violence education class that addresses the belief systems and educates on equality in relationships, working with men who batter. CMMHC is wonderful organization that understands that a healthy company means healthy providers. We work to empower each client by learning new skills, increasing support, encouraging acceptance, finding self awareness and understanding past traumas or barriers.

As a mental health intern I worked on a treatment team that assisted individuals overcome many barriers of which include substance abuse and often social barriers to success. I was humbled to provide individual therapy and see clients whom found greater personal awareness, learned new coping skills and found how their own personal strengths can be utilized for reaching success. Simply put, my work included individual therapy, diagnostic assessments and group therapy.
