My current job allows me to focus on ethics and compliance and I love to create customized workshops on these topics using the research-based work of Brene Brown's curriculum!My professional experience is as an executive level team member specializing in behavioral health with 30 years of experience in mental health and addiction education, prevention, intervention and treatment. My commitment is to engage employees, inspire leaders, strategic planning and change management for the industry. I have had the opportunity to be an industry leader and solution finder for community based non-profit, managed care and for profit service providers. I have worked closely with senior management, board members, statewide providers and political officials to improve organizational presence, establishing partnerships and building local/national relationships for increasing community impact. I am a graduate of George Mason University with a Masters of Counseling and Development and a Bachelors of Social Work. I am a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor in Texas. I am also Certified in Healthcare Compliance. My commitment to improving the lives of folks impacted by mental health and addiction drives my passion and guides my efforts to make a difference every day.
