Currently working on the material study of glass artefacts found in archaeological contexts by means of a multi-analytical approach including X-ray fluorescence (XRF), scanning electron microscope coupled with energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry (SEM-EDS), laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and micro-Raman spectroscopy. Glass souring is one of the main goals of this work. Especial effort is made to understand the processes of glass coloring and opacification.
