Security Operations Center (Soc) Manager
CurrentManager of Dataprev's Blue Team, I am responsible for ensuring delivery of the highest level of service in the support of conducting security event monitoring and analysis as well as incident response. In this position, I have challenging responsibilities such as:- Ensure continuous improvement of the proactive and iterative research process in networks to detect and isolate advanced threats that evade existing security solutions;- Ensure that relevant security practices, policies, and procedures are followed;- Provide direction on day-to-day operations of the SOC, ensuring all activities are completed, stopping the threat, and preserving the data;- Drive implementation and improvement of new tools, capabilities, frameworks, and methodologies across all teams within the SOC;- Ensure that security solutions are being used optimally, taking full advantage of their functionality;- Continuously evolve the SIEM solution, considering all types of data sources, and increasingly automating the detection of security alerts and incidents;- Manage the first response team, that works 365/24/7.
