I love making things work. My work consists of applied machine learning (building prototypes, collaborating, and writing papers/making posters for lithography conferences) with occasional code commits to large python and C++ codebase. The job I do is both rewarding and interesting; exactly the type of work I’d like to continue doing.In addition, I am doing a Masters program at UT Austin in Computer Engineering. My academic interests include distributed systems, machine learning, and design patterns. There is a big debate on whether an advanced degree is necessary in the tech industry. But for me, it was an easy decision to continue my education. For one, I love learning new material that keeps my skills polished. I also wanted to increase my knowledge of topics that I was already interested in (such as machine learning).
