Manager, Credit Bureau Reporting
CurrentPlans, organizes, and directs the data furnishing and credit dispute related activities of the credit union to ensure maximum accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Monitors the performance of the team in all performance areas, including timeliness of responses and service measurements to ensure exceptional Member and team member service standards are upheld.Responsible for the credit reporting data furnished for consumer loans, credit cards, real estate securedloans/lines of credit to the 3 major Credit Reporting Agencies (CRAs) though partnership with internal ITresources or third-party vendors for all core systems. Oversees the accuracy and integrity of furnished data generated from each core system.Represent the interests of Members through sound, accurate credit bureau management practices withinrelated product/process/system change management initiatives. Represent FCRA compliance issues in key technology and operational projects, ensuring critical requirements are accounted for in businessrequirements and are addressed in project execution.Oversees the review and follow-up of error/metric reports from all major CRAs, the timely review and response to Member credit report disputes (both direct and indirect). Investigates and responds to complaints and concerns received by all organizational communication channels, including Voice of the Member, CFPB, Better Business Bureau, and others.Implements process controls within the department to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, as well as any other applicable regulation. Serves as liaison for internal and external audits, including the NCUA and CFPB, relating to department audit activities to ensure that department functions meet regulatory policies and guidelines.
