As a nurse, I take pride in helping improve health outcomes by navigating the complicated world of HEDIS for payer and provider partners. Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) and other aspects of Quality Management and Population Health are valuable tools for health plans and consumers to measure performance and enhance the patient experience. I have a wide knowledge base of Medicaid, Medicare, commercial, and Tricare health plan operations with focus on meeting contractual obligations and improving health outcomes. Creativity, determination, organization, and communication are all key talents I continue to hone that make me successful in the HEDIS world. While I have worked in all aspects of health plan quality, the HEDIS collection process from start to finish is truly my passion, including but not limited to: Roadmap, Audit, sampling and chase identification, clinical reviews and overreading, data analysis, supplemental data collection, and other off-season and year-around improvement projects. NOW is the time to lean into the transition to digital measurement. Aside from my career, I support local youth sports. I love to cook, travel, volunteer at my church, and spend summers on the lake with family and friends!
