Hi! I'm Eva Magaña(she/her). As both a productioncoordinator and creative, I'm passionate about themesof ambiguity and ordinary life in storytelling and I'mcommitted to creating collaborative and sustainableworking environments. My research inRhetoric and Media Studies provides a background incultural knowledge; a frequent contributor to manydepartments in the production pipeline.

The company specializes in high production in music videos and entertainment visual projects. I manage social media and reach out to brands and artists. When we have a project I then assist backstage as a production assistant and work in the creative brainstorming process.

Main responsibilities: Organized three-day symposium on Revolutionary Struggle for the Portland community with 1800+ attendees. Developed topics, summaries, and speaker ideas for 12 panels centering Black and South Asian experts. Lead meetings encouraging collaboration to over 40 student volunteers and to monitor daily progress, report clear feedback and work through variances by adapting event structure as needed to take in crowds over 1,1000.

I assisted in bringing in Oscar-Winner Costume Designer Ruth E. Carter to discuss storytelling and costumes. I also lead open remarks for Ruth E. Carter’s talk while providing on-the-ground support for the live event which hosted over 500 people.Prior to the event, I hosted a guest lecture and screening of Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing which was centered around costumes role and aid in storytelling in fil\m.

Called alumni, past parents, and recent graduates in both Undergrad and the Law school campus where I raised over $11,000 for the college.

I collaborated with TEDx executive team to identify themes and met branding and event guidelines while also communicating with cross-functional team leaders to operationalize production workflows.Some roles include: Tracked costs and connected with sponsorships deals to ensure the event stays within budget. Wrote, edited, and presented full grant proposal that raised $10,000and supervised the preparation of the event, directly managing staff and ensuring large-scale materials and files were delivered.
