My area of responsibility mainly comprised the following activities:• Development of sourcing strategies, selection of potential IT partners and analysis of current IT costs (development of the financial base case) • In case of 2nd generation outsourcing: Analysis and review of existing IT outsourcing contracts and their optimization as well as significant reduction of IT costs by renegotiating with the existing provider• Implementation of price benchmarks using a methodical approach: Analysis of current costs (internal or external) and comparison with market prices from the Navisco benchmarking database, including normalization and preparation of decision templates for the management• Execution of IT outsourcing tenders as (partial) project manager incl. the tender document, in particular responsibility for the entire commercial part (price book, commercial regulations, determination of relevant service volumes, etc.), contract negotiations incl. preparation and follow-up, document management and conclusion of contracts• Financial offer evaluations (including business case calculations for total contract volumes of up to 1 billion euros), clarification of questions regarding commercial aspects of the tender with the providers, preparation of the presentation for financial evaluation Show less
