As a Veterinary Team Manager and a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) at Animal Care Centers of NYC, I oversee the daily operations and quality of care of the veterinary department, ensuring the health and welfare of thousands of animals annually. I have more 25 years of experience in the veterinary industry, working in various settings and specialties, and have interest in emergency and critical care medicine, toxicology, wildlife, and environmental sciences.I am passionate about providing excellent customer service, education, and support to the public, staff, and volunteers, as well as fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. I am also skilled in communication, troubleshooting, and handling complex and sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion. Additionally, I have a strong interest and background in horticulture, urban agriculture, and sustainability, and I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture from Oregon State University.
