With over 30 years’ experience in the IT and Business industry she has a proven track record of delivering on time and in budget. Magda started out her career in the old mainframe environment and was part of the first teams with Iscor that implemented SAP in South Africa. She gained extensive experience about outsourcing being part of the IT team that moved over to AST Group (later Gijima) and was instrumental in taking the IT Service Desk to the next level for AST. She then moved to IBM where she was the Delivery Project Executive on the South African Breweries account establishing a solid relationship baseline for IBM with this account. IBM recognized her capacity and added two smaller account L’oreal and Muriel to her portfolio. She also managed the transitioning out journey of the Anglo Gold Ashanti outsourcing contract with BCX for IBM. From IBM she moved to Sun Microsystems where she established the baseline for their Managed Services servicing MTN (Nigeria & Cameroon), Eskom, Telkom. She then joined TSS and established their outsourcing governance contracts and structure with the Department of Justice (DOJ). She then moved out of IT into a Business role and joined Anglo American and transitioned the largest HR Shared Services in Africa. During her tenure with Anglo American she fulfilled a number of roles all of which was primarily focused around HR Shared Services. End of 2015 she was retrenched from Anglo American and firstly took a 3-month sabbatical to finish her Master’s Degree and then joined Magos Group as Programme Director where she is responsible for all project activities for Magos Group. Projects she currently is involved with are the bespoke development of a LMS for Lonmin Mine, Process re-engineering for FNB, establishing Magos Group as a training provider with a number of SETA’s and setting up the Quality Management System and all required accreditation requirements as defined by the SETA’s
