As a Sales Advisor, I was tasked with getting to know the individual needs of my customers and providing them with tailored recommendations that addressed those needs I was also responsible for being an expert on product lineup, company services/solutions, as well as technical subject matter like networking, car audio, home theater components, etc. Promoting company-wide initiatives and goals were a huge part of my day as well. The Sales Consultant role was a fairly new position for Best Buy implemented early 2021 that entails selling appliance and home theater packages geared to clients looking for high-end products or comprehensive solutions, all the while creating leads for Designer employees for the even more complex sales. Day-to-day responsibilities entailed interacting with clients interested in upgrading or renovating their homes with appliances and home theater products, maintaining client information on company provided CRM, closing sales, and escalating design sales to appropriate colleagues.

My responsibilities included managing and maintaining all systems and organization-issued devices, as well as providing internal troubleshooting help as needed. My daily tasks included managing SharePoint, upkeep of their electronic medical record system, and admin control of all other company services and programs. Also, new hardware setup/refurbishing, technical support through ticketing system and phone, as well as networking and printer maintenance were also common duties.
