Passionate public health specialist with over ten years of robust experience in health management, policy, and project leadership roles. My academic journey has led me to earn degrees in Medicine, Health Economics, Public Health, and Governance and Leadership of European Public Health from prestigious institutions including Cairo University, the University of Sheffield, and Maastricht University.Currently, I'm applying my skills in roles with Expertise France and WHO. As a Health System Expert at Expertise France, I guide strategic improvements to the Egyptian Healthcare Authority's performance and integration within the Universal Health Insurance System. Concurrently, I'm serving as a Health System Advisor at the WHO Egypt country office, working on project deliverables and data collection for the Universal Health Insurance model's verification. Moreover, I'm the Regional Coordinator for Assistive Technology at WHO's East Mediterranean Regional Office. Recently, I have been selected to be a member of the global network on improving access to AT which was created by WHO HQ.In my former roles, I've demonstrated my leadership skills as the Medical Director at Mersal Foundation, managing a multi-disciplinary team of over 60 staff members, and in multiple positions at the Arab Medical Union, where I managed projects benefiting refugee and migrant health. My experience spans various areas including migration health, child health, mental health, strategy, research, and project management, allowing me to create and lead multifaceted health programs.I'm recognized for my contributions to the Global Report on Assistive Technology (GReAT) and a proud member of the Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH). My ongoing commitment to health system strengthening and advocacy has led me to initiate public conversations about the need for a public health agency in Egypt.Always keen on growth, collaboration, and contributing to health system strengthening initiatives.
